People still using bartender despite it's high cpu usage

You could just get weakauras or make your own? It's a viable alternative and you can just delete the timers you don't want out of premade packages you download.

WeakAuras can be worse. Quite a few of the popular custom auras are terribly written. The biggest offender is the "check on every frame" option, which tanks fps if the code used is bad.

I mean.. I've already got an overclocked 8600k and an M.2 500gb SSD.
Having an addon be slightly more CPU heavy than another doesn't bother me at all.

Personally, I'd blame the user, not the addon. DBM has never screwed up for me, and it's never out-of-date either.

I should blame guildies because their DBM stopped working mid raid because it detected a newer version? It shouldn't stop working just because its 1 version out of date especially when it can easily detect if your in an instance

I used bartender once but them i found dominos and learned that it uses far less cpu so my question is, why people are still using bartender ?

Because the CPU Bartender uses is a poofteenth of a percent of nothing compared to other stuff.
Also - because dominos doesn't do what bartender does.

I don’t, but hundreds of players do, which is how we get people complaining about FPS and cpu. Most of them have no clue that custom weakauras is just a pile of code like any other addon.

its not because of addons, its because of how poorly optimized the game is. you'd get pretty bad fps in antorus even with no addons. the addons just lower it by a couple fps at most.
