Suspicious Crate toy

As I have understood, this item spawns on the rug, in front of Marin Noggenfrogger.

However, does it spawn before or after you spend your coin?

If it spawns before, I can park my Rogue Alt, with a coin in bags, and log in for me time to time, to check.
lf it spawns after, I need to spend an ungodly amount of time, farming coins and travel back and forward.... ON AN ALT!!

So, which is it?

I think I've got it in the crate which lied before the Noggenfogger.

Iirc it just spawns randomly, Marin does an emote yell or something about having some special stock for you, and you can just go pick it up.

It just spawns randomly. I think I used to hide in it loads back when I thought it could potentially lead to the whearabouts of the Artful Dodging set.

I thought this aswell, then the other day I got the coin, went to complete the quest and even before speaking to Marin the crate was there and I could loot it.
So no it doesn't spawn after completing the quest.

It just randomly shows up but I think he has to not be on a mission for it to happen I didn't see it for months and months then I stopped using him and it showed up after a few weeks.
