Balance druid has logical rotations or priorities, that shift in what feels like a natural way, better talent options than the other two (although not perfect by any means), and simply feels like playing a complete well thought out spec.

Go man up and find a way. Reroll, quit, or grow some balls.
I know a few top-tier ele shamans who slap fotm rerollers into the ground. In every fight except council ones.
Nobody knows about dps ranking, even if they do post dps ranking, not a single one of them would be stupid enough to claim they are final, raid ready ranking. So no class suck as far as a raid leader is concern as DPS is king.

What is man up? You definition of man up is not voicing your opinion in a fucking BETA and ESCAPE to another class? That is the opposite of manning up.

You don't need to know top tier of any class to know that anybody who play their class "well" would own "FOTM re-rollers". This is so dumb.

Concerns about a spec vs doomsaying AND making life miserable for "common folk" is what I think is wrong.
WoW developers are a special kind- they get easily irritated when they are attacked. The more aggressive you are, the less changes you get.

But Elemental IS a functional spec. If it can produce "good numbers" it will be played. If it does NOT, no matter how "fun" it is - it goes down the dumpster. Take a look at Demonology, and how everyone praised it, but hey a nerf came and it is forgotten. Nobody wants to play a fun-but-weak spec.

Elemental IS NOT WEAK currently on the beta. Even if it is, the tuning is not final. Also we do NOT have any word on how classes should be balanced.

BUT! And here is my point: do not make the game miserable by doomsaying that Elemental is non-functional because IT IS SIMPLY NOT TRUE!
Yes, some specs have better target switching, has better burst, looking more badass, etc-etc. But these are only OPINIONS.

Also what happened with "all wow classes are easy to play"? Hey, here comes a spec which doesn't "flow" so well and it is NON-FUNCTIONAL according to you?

This view is twisted beyond belief.

TLDR; yes, ele has problems. No it doesn't make the spec unplayable.
Crying on all forums that it is unplayable just makes the experience miserable who just want to play an Elemental Shaman, because groups won't invite them BECAUSE of the crying.

This game is old enough to destroy this theory.
Because if it were true, it would mean that the devs do not realize that they have been part of a feedback loop on Elemental.

People are angry about spec X because it doesn't perform well => Post angry stuff on forums => devs devote less time to spec X => people are angry about spec X because it doesn't perform well.

It would also mean that the devs themselves aren't a bit better than the players, if the sole reason you don't give a shit about a certain game aspect because the community that favours this aspect is not nice towards you, then you are a part of the problem.
Devs are supposed to be objective as far as balance is concerned, if they're not, then they failed on that part of the job.

Lastly, Elemental not being counted among the favoured spec of the devs (at least as far as PvE is concerned) is an unspoken truth at this point, the sole expansion where Elemental was "sort of viable" from the start was MoP, any other expansion was an utter shitshow until the first wave of hotfixes rolled around (or even later).

    That's an oxymoron.
"Other people are better at math or athletics. BUT THESE ARE ONLY OPINIONS."

Elemental is among the worst spec for a target switch, especially if those targets are short lived, that is not an opinion, that is fact, i'm not going to argue whether there's a worse spec but Elemental is among the worst, HFC has shown this without a doubt.

    Facts aren't opinions.

The class worked just fine in legion, just tune the numbers and we are golden!!!...also echo of the elements base line would be pretty sweet. If anyone from blizzard is here, please pass the word that SHAMANS WANT TO SHAMAN...but mage can do the same thing but better.
