How do I skip straight to *effective* treasure-finding in WoD?

So everyone advises, for the purpose of speed leveling, that in WoD one does bonus objectives and treasures.

Here's the thing: Aren't treasures only a good idea once you have the story for each areas unlocked and then have the map? Doesn't doing the "regular stream" of quest-leveling to get said map defeat the purpose of "speed leveling?"

Is there a taken-for-granted point I'm missing here, or is there an addon or something that just puts the treasures on the map upon arrival?
