Here are my latest tweaks. Decided I prefer the fire fest ring over any helm, the better to show off his top knot and inky black skull. Found some better legs and belt (leveling gives you more options)
Still probably not his forever mog, but I get happier with it all the time.

Got the helm I've been farming from Ragnaros (Molten Core). I wanted something more than hidden helm, but did not want to cover his head. The flames of this one are red to match his beard and top knot.

I'm still a lowbie (not much motivation to level right now, honestly) but I think the Righteous Battleplate set from the Trial of Style looks good on a Dark Iron Paladin. Just ignore my ENORMOUS shield looming over my shoulders -- that's not part of the armor. And the faint glow on the right hand is from my weapon.
I know its not exotic or spectacular anything but I think it suits the race. I think its important to stay away from the super bright gold/yellow armor colors usually associated with the Light and Paladin stuff. We're DARK Irons, durnit.Last edited by PuppetShowJustice; 2018-11-03 at 05:59 PM.
