selling a mount in this limited time when most people can't cough up that money in that short of a time frame

You are kidding right?. Its exactly the kind of thing a business savvy CEO would do, this mount promo is literally the definition of the tried and true "for a limited time only special offer" formula. Got to get that subscriber retention somehow, no procrastinating on deciding if you want to.

they once did a similar promotion where you got diablo 3 for free if you subscribed for one year to wow. that was also one of the dullest periods in wow. they did nothing in that time because people couldn't unsubscribe in that time.
