Anyone what this is? Arcane thing in the sky

Been levelling a Human Mage in Elwynn/Westfall, level 10 and this happened twice. The sky went dark and all voidy/arcane with 2 of these in the sky, might be something I've missed but been playing since Vanilla and never seen it. Anyone know?

Nah it happened when I accepted a quest after killing Hogger in Elwynn, and then again just wandering around in Westfall questing. Lasted about 5 seconds and then everything went back to normal. Thanks for the link btw!

Friend of mine suggested it might be the Azshara/N'zoth version of the red star in the sky after getting curve? Got it on Tuesday but this is the first time I've levelled anything since

definitely never seen that before.

i know there's some totem toys that change your skybox, but idk if any look like that. i also think they changed it so they only effect the person that put them out.

Mystery solved - seems to have been the 'Haunting Memento' toy from the Darkmoon Faire - had no idea that existed or could do that to everyone's skybox
