If there's a new class, will it get artefact weapons?

As there are not weapon drops in Legion, how should a new class level from 100-110? Or would Blizzard ignore that fact completely?

Use the plenthora of weapons you can still get as drops?

I think it will be treated like Tier sets. They simply don't exist for classes prior to the expansions they were introduced in, and no one bats an eye.

Unlikely, especially if all old expansions become optional content in a hypothetical level squish/levelling revamp. At most, I can see them adding weapon rewards to a couple of quests here and there, call it a day.

Don't artifacts no longer confer their trait bonuses? So really it's just a 100-110 heirloom now. So yeah they probably could get one.
