    I'd love an expansion which focused on race stories and fleshing out their characters with ethier a decentralised or lower stakes main villain. I guess thats my controversial suggestion basically world of peacecraft.

    With this add in a metric shit tonne of transmog gear

    I have some unpopular opinions when it comes to possible additions I'd love to see to the game but I'm still hoping I may see some or one of them added some time.

    MORE character customization, WoW has by far the worst character customization I've ever seen in any game that wasn't a mobile mmo or some obscure free to play asian mmo. I'd like more hairstyles, haircolors, eyecolors, tattoo's, warpaint, scars etc.. bodysliders? More available skin/hair/eye colors..Just a complete overhaul.

    Going forth on the character customization; I'd like them to steer away a slight bit from the overly cartoony style. Sure, WoW has never been realistic graphics but I feel it's getting a bit out of hand lately with the cutesy factor. Diablo and the new WC3 for example use about the same art style but it looks more 'mature' somehow. Even a gnome can look a bit more gritty and a bit less hand-puppet/muppet.

    Classes..ok this is merely my own personal taste and opinion but I feel the classes in WoW are super generic and boring. There is hardly any difference between the classes like..every dps class for example has like 4 'main' skills, 2 interrupts, 1 stun..a heal maybe.. Sure the skills have different names but they all work roughly the same way. IMO not EVERY class needs an interrupt..or a stun..or a heal..or a debuff. Make classes excell at different things. Some are better at debuffs, some are super good at interrupting/stunning/being annoying but they may be less good at direct damage and such. Making evey class more or less capable at doing everything, more or less good at everything makes it boring (again..,my personal opinion).

    Going on on classes: I'd like them to show a bit more originality when it comes to classes 'priest' 'warrior' 'rogue' ..again so boring and generic. Think up something more fantasy like, (stealing some idea's from other mmo's I've played) Rift for all it's flaws did have some interesting classes with nice flavors. Even some asian mmo's (who would otherwise suck balls...) have some interesting takes on certain classes and archetypes. WoW has always played it safe..and again..that makes it dull and boring for me.

    I'd love to see things like Blood magic, A battle-mage (melee mage), An inquisitor, a holy type that damages with ranged spells. Support classes like bards or dirges. Classes that are really good at buffing..With some classes I feel they've come close to a somewhat original idea but the execution of the class just felt off (like for example the survival hunter)

    Races (again...heavily based on my own personal opions and wants). I would so LOVE to actually be able to play a centaur, a high fantasy race that is represented in many games as an enemy, never as an ally. I've been playing around with this idea for a while. They've already shown with mechagnomes that boots/pants/gloves etc aren't all that important anymore to show if the race offers sufficient customization on those parts. But even centaurs could use a modified boot model, pants could be like armor on the back or flanks (where normally a saddle would be on a horse). Sure they'd miss out on using mounts but as a special racial flavor they could get a thing like running wild that worgen get. They could wear specially crafted hoofshoes that increase running speed, add a bit of flavor like leaving a trail of hoofprints (again..use your imagination).
    Horde could get centaurs, Alliance could get Dryads.

    Class sets. Please bring these back..

    Armor models: I am sick and tired of the flat horrible boots with huge calfs that everybody is apparantly forced to wear..I'd like some boots with heels, boots with laces, boots that go above the knee, boots with armor..Just anything really. They've experimented with different armor shapes in belts, boots and legs for a while but this can be expanded and improved.

    -Tier sets
    -Make reputations account wide
    -More solo/class based contes like mage tower, Benediction etc
    -Make flex raiding one difficulty. No need for hc and normal.
    -Remove or revamp the mission table. Totally pointless atm

    Class Heritage Armor and Weapons from Mage Tower like challenge - I'd make these hd updated and upgraded vanilla tier sets like Judgement and Bloodfang

    Updated character customization for core races - tattoos, scars, more hair/facial hair/jewelry options.

    No ap grind - I might just bust a gasket if Ion comes on stage and says "You will be replacing the Heart of Azeroth with the Belt of Argus" or some nonsense like that.

    No titanforging - more rng on your rng is bad

    Reforging returned - let players control their gearing more

    Player housing with armor stands for transmogs, stables that let our favorited mounts roam around in, trophy room where we can put trophys collected from raid bosses, and of course a dance studio with a jukebox full of our favortie wow soundtracks.

    I would:
    bring back best in slot lists.
    bring back tier sets. disabled in pvp
    remove Randomness from classes. like combat rouges and that silly dice talent.
    allow flying after hitting max level
    make the artifact/paragon leveling system reward cosmetic rewards only. so keeping alts up to date is not such a ball ache.
    legendary quest lines for weapons that will stay relevant throughout an expansions life. earned at the highest level of raiding.
    remove the gcd changes.
    burn the mission table to the ground.
    allow guild housing with various benefits
    I main a warrior so forgive the bias but id bring back heroic strike and make whirlwind a cd again basically just make fury as it was in wrath.
    war forging titan forged is going in the bin
    10 and 20 man raid sizes only
    bosses would be designed like ulduar where you have to do certain things like press the big red button on mimiron to activate heroic mode
    all end bosses of a raid on heroic mode would have a secret heroic only phase
    make mass stealth be available from a profession
    key stones would be made more accessible and easier up to rank 10 timers would be relaxed. so most groups can clear them but still offer a greater progressive experience for lesser players. better players can smash through them quicker to earn extra cosmetic rewards.
    1 item drop per key stone per boss per day for each player would be guaranteed an item. rerunning the same instance over and over would yield results similar to what we have currently dependant on timer. with level 10 gear being equal to normal mode raiding.
    the weekly chest would contain a piece of gear at +10 equal to heroic raiding and going down with respective level you complete as is on live. this gear would be bind on equip so trading or auction housing was an option. again incentivising trading.
    trading of gear would be incentivised. you don't need the gear you trade it you get a bonus roll for that boss that will reward another piece of loot from the entire dungeon not specifically that boss.
    the challenge would start at key stone 11+ where organised guild groups are recommended.
    the higher key stones 11+ would reward cosmetic gear titles mounts and spell animations (paladin wings look like diablo style angle wings) that sort of thing purely cosmetic but be extremely cool looking and very prestigious. maybe even add mount tokens at extremely high levels of keys for mounts like invincible mimirons head character auras that sort of stuff. something that would make a player inspect you if they saw you and ask how did you get that. it doesn't benefit player power at all running anything over +10
    the 11+ key stones would bring far greater challenge. with added boss mechanics greater health pools. CC would be required on trash all that jazz very tight timers
    the seasonal affixes would remain but instead of being removed they add to the pool of past mechanics these would be on rotation. if a mechanic was particularly disliked it would be removed from the pool
    ALL old world dungeons would be made Mythic keystones past 11+ but reward no gear just cosmetics.
    war mode would disable flying
    war mode would be disabled and enabled any where in the world.
    war mode would come with certain benefits make earning PVP gear easier to obtain. plus mounts and other PvP based cosmetics.
    random zones throughout azeroth would come under attack from what ever was the big bad of that expansion starting a small quest chain culminating in a world boss fight small world boss fight. the zone surrounding the boss would be group based pvp. (you cant attack people in your group but anyone else its game on)
    enable cross faction raiding.
    PvP gear would come back.
    tank specs would also get a dps tree. so sword and shield dps for paladins warriors bear dps for druids blood dps for death knights etc. they would be separate options for the player to choose. you don't get to be a tank that can dps like a maniac. its 1 or the other.
    your 15 level talents would be interchangeable any where in the world. locked once a keystone as been started or during an encounter.
    less raid mechanics that 1 mistake results in a raid wipe they would still exist but be less frequent. but more mechanics that require team work and communication to handle.
    allow group finder addons for smoother world questing.
    rep grinds would be account wide again for alt friendliness. but the player has the option to use it or not.
    set gem slots on gear.
    professions would provide a Cosmetic benefit to the player. enchanters get spell animations blacksmiths armour trans mog sets. miners get mounts etc etc
    all zones would scale with character level. this can be disabled or enabled as you wish.
    all older raids would be easily soloable once the current expansion goes live.
    more character customisation options
    tattoo studio in capital cities for further customision
    piercing studios in capital cities for those of you who like wearing jewelry in your face
    gyms in capital cities gyms to alter the body composition of your character so big buff elves or little skinny orcs. mini games lifting weights or running a treadmill for example. this would be a gradual change but can be reversed at any time. with potion of restoration
    also various eateries where if you want to be a fat goblin,tauren etc you can just sit in here and stuff your face. again these can always be reversed at the players discretion
    barracks where you can modify your attack animations
    wizard schools where you can modify your spell animations
    restoration schools where you can modify your healing animations
    world quests across every zone on azeroth including past expansions.
    all the target dummies would look like ion hazikostas or jay allan brack incase they ever piss you off
    dungeon sets would be reintroduced and be useful in dungeons, providing utility inside a dungeon environment and when not in war mode or pvp.
    tier sets would be useful in raiding but deactivated out in war mode or in PvP.
    pvp gear set bonuses would only work in pvp and warmode.
    fishing would be made way more entertaining to do again with little mini games.
    casinos would be added for in game gold only. poker tables roulette wheels. just for those with more gold than sense.
    libraries containing the full stories of past expansions for lore guys. the entire history of the known universe could be found in their. if that's your thing. maybe even a few secrets can be unlocked in there for professions classes and such. like copies of frost mourne for black smiths to forge etc. anything cool lore wise would take a while to learn about it but the pay off would be there.
    players could also set up a shop tab in their bank similar to how PoE trading works so you can operate a little store if you so desire.
    allied races would be in there but you can customise it as you see fit with the gym and other body modification stuff. skinny crack head looking pandas or buff undead.
    i would have social hubs inside these capitals filled with mini games. gold rewards your paragon item stuff like that.
    introduce 5 aside football.
    cage fighting so players can spectate and take part similar to how the brawlers guild works. but for pvp. like a similar to pet battles but its bare handed and you enter a chain of commands in turns. land the full chain you knock the other guy down the other guy just has to try and match 1 of your 3 inputs and he blocks that attack opening you for a counter. bets would be taken at these events. again rewarding cosmetic shit and gear isn't a factor. its just for fun
    racing would also be added. similar to how Mario kart is. you run the track on your mount every ones speed is the same there are various boosts on the track you collect them to unlock weapons like oil spills that slow other racers down or rockets for your mout that give you a temporary speed buff.

    this kind of flowed out of my i got carried away with it and designed a game world that appealed to me. technologicaly impossible of course but thats always the best part about arm chair games development.
