Rise of Aman'thul [Fan Expansion Concept]

World of Warcraft: Rise of Aman'thul

A fan expansion concept that I've thinked of for a long time. Hope it is good and original. Let me know what you think of it in the comments below!
    Concept inspired by Golden Yak!

Introduction - The Rise For What Was Fallen...

As the conflict against N'Zoth ended in victory, it has been years since Sargeras was defeated and locked away. But now, somehow he has found a way to rescue himself and wage war again in the Twisting Nether against the humanity. Using his last bits of power, Sargeras unleashed his very soul into one of the Titans, which is (based on the name of this expansion) Aman'thul. Aman'thul was out of control, filled with rage and mind of Sargeras, leading him into complete madness. Aman'thul shackled the Seat of the Pantheon and its Titans, leaving them vunvreable and almost powerless. Illidan did his all and threw his mighty glaives onto the raging Titan and still failed. Aman'thul then used the emptied body of Sargeras, using it to make his homeworld, Sargeron. Aman'thul fled there and left the Seat, leading to...

Champions need to stop this new source of evil, for he wishes not only to destroy Aman'thul, but the whole Twisting Nether.

Patch X.3 - The Dark Empire

When Yogg-Saron was defeated in Ahn'kahet, he was banished by the Stormbreakers into the Twisting Nether, commanded never to return on Azeroth. As he was banished from Ulduar, he found his way to Sargeron, to wounded Titan, Aman'thul. Yogg-Saron saw his wounds, dangerous to his very existence. Yogg-Saron did the unthinkable. He unleashed his power to Aman'thul to restore him and to finish his task of destroying the Pantheon. But, when the powers of Yogg-Saron was unleashed to him, he thought different. He now knew that Sargeras was possesing him. He destroyed his soul and all of the Raging Order, building a new force to face the Twisting Nether, especially Azeroth, the Dark Empire. Now, when the wound is now open, Aman'thul makes his way to the Underworld to corrupt the Heart of Azeroth. Encounter the Broken Servants in this raid, the ones who served the MOTHER, now corrupted by Aman'thul's dark magic and put an end to Aman'thul in the Chamber of Heart, once and for all!

    Patch X.3.5 - Features:

Trial of Genn Greymane - When Barrens was assaulted and saved by Jaina Proudmoore by creating The Wall between the Northern Barrens and Southern Barrens, Genn Greymane was guilty of putting his men and the most of the Alliance to risking their lives which most of them did, now he stands trial in Stormwind. Decide Genn's fate where he will be spared and put on a service of the Jailer in Stormwind Stockades, or seal his fate by killing him and putting and end of his misery.

    - When Aman'thul and the Dark Empire was destroyed in the Heart of Azeroth, new Titans have been pronounced. Argus, who is the leader of the Pantheon and Alexstrazsa, who is the new Titan of Life. Restore the Pantheon's glory and bring an everlasting peace into the Twisting Nether. High Elves finally join the Horde, and Iron Dwarves join the Alliance.

That is all for this expansion concept. Hoped you liked it, it was all from me. Thank you for reading this and I will read every single comment you post and most surely I will reply. Cheers!

Duplicate thread that found its way into moderation queue. Keeping this one open for discussion.

While a lot of these ideas are not that bad, it has some glaring errors if you want it to happen.

First off, level cap increase to 130? That means you haven't paid attention to Shadowlands reducing us to 50 going on 60.

Second, this all sounds like a sequel to Legion. We are done with the Legion, Sargeras is not corrupting Aman'thul and so on and so forth.

All in all, this would have been nice if you posted it as a "leak" before BfA was announced, but now it just falls flat on its face, due to BfA and Shadowlands. Yes, I know it's just an idea you had, but the timing is so off that I cannot say it's a good thing you posted it.

I know that the level cap was decreased to lvl 50 to 60 in Shadowlands and thank you for adressing that, it will be fixed.

I thought that this fan expansion would be after Shadowlands, that the Dark Titan returns to slaughter the universe but in another form, I just wanted it to be the last expansion of World of Warcraft so that Blizz can make a new game. WoW 2 or Warcraft IV.

    Thank you for your reply!

We fought Sargeras and the Legion already, it's way too soon for yet another demon focused expansion.

  6. #6
Sounds really dumb tbh, Aman'thul isn't a fighter titan, Aggramar and Sargeras is, if Sargeras managed to escape the last thing he'd do is possess Aman'thul.

the inital x-pac sounds ok, but what is going on with those patches. There is no rhyme or reason for any of it, nothing that fits the theme of your expansion.

  8. #8
You are right, but I wanted it to this expansion to be last for World of Warcraft and I thought defeating Aman'thul and making of a new era of Titans and the Twisting Nether would be rather fitting to the end of the game.

    Thank you for your reply!

So, in the first patch Aman'thul attacks the Seat of the Pantheon, kills Eonar, Argus redeems himself by defeating Aman'thul, but still not killing him. Aman'thul returns to Sargeron in his desperation and Argus temporarily sits on the main throne of the Seat. Also, the feature of this patch is the War of the Wolves, which contains content of revenge of Greymane. He attacks Barrens, but fails. He then later was captured and accused of treason by Anduin Wrynn.

Second patch relies on Yogg-Saron, his return and the control of the Nerubians. Anub'arak returns and with champions of Azeroth defeats Yogg-Saron. The Storm Gods of Storm Peaks banish the Old God into the Twisting Nether, which leads to the third patch.

Third patch. Aman'thul returns with the power of the Old God, Yogg-Saron is dead and Aman'thul destroys the Soul of Sargeras, which leads him to self-control, but still turns evil, destroys the Raging Order and makes the Dark Empire, similar to the Black Empire. Aman'thul makes his way to Azeroth and he wants to destroy her soul, but fails and he is defeated and killed once and for all. Greymane stands trial and Alexstrasza and Argus become the official Titans of the Pantheon.

Sounds fitting to me, but still thank you for your reply!

    - - - Updated - - -

Aman'thul becomes the fighter Titan when Sargeras posseses him and his power grows and grows which makes him stronger than Sargeras. His only choice was to posses Aman'thul to escape 'cause he was in chains and he was waiting for the right moment to unleash his soul to the Highfather.

    Thank you for your reply!
