24 runs oh king mechagon for rank 3 vision of perfection

Hello there.

I'm currently at 24 runs of Operation mechagon foundry HC, sitting on my 3/4 pieces to complete the rank 3 vision of perfection essence.

I don't know if this was intended or i am very unlucky, but i think that Blizzard has made some serious MISTAKES on how to obtain this "power up"

what do you think guys?

What difficulty are you doing it on?

Shouldnt take that long on mythic

heroic is a chance
mythic is garunteed.

Find a mythic plus key 2 or 3. Guaranteed drops every time. My priest got 2 per run, but I don't know if that's just because it's an alt of characters who already got rank3.

Mythic+ workshop even drops 2 pieces at once.
And even in mythic+ junkyard, you get one piece.

I think you need to ask questins and research before jumping to negative evaluations because it makes you look silly if you don't.

Got it in 6 heroic runs on my dk, rng is rng

OP might be 1 of those whos deathly allergic to human interaction that comes with doing a mythic run, let him do his HC runs in peace.

That's the problem. Heroic has a ~25-50% chance to drop a sprocket.

If you run M0 or M+ it's guaranteed each time you kill. So you only need 4 runs at max. Find a group of M+2 Junkyard/Workshop and knock it out in ~2 hrs.

Just like with Kara in Legion. When they turn the mega dungeon into a mythic plus they chop it in half for that and also roll out the heroic versions.

you're complaining about running a dungeon expecting a drop where the drop isn't 100% - I mean do you farm anything? I've been farming mounts for years without a drop in some cases. sounds like you have 2 choices: run mythic or mythic+ and you get that final piece guaranteed.... or keep running heroics which going off your post seems to have about a 12.5% drop rate.

As @MrLachyG mentions, I meant the 4 runs total would only take up to 2 hours depending on group. Not 2 hours for a run, I would've left at that point lol

I got 4 progression sprockets in 3 M+ runs, took a little over an hour.
