Im honestly excited for this raid finder! ^_ ^I for one have always enjoyed raiding, but never had the schedule to do it. The only good time for me to raid is around midnight and no one really is raiding at that time sadly, so with this change I feel like im going to be super duper happy with it!

As a heroic mode raider I will still use the raid finder for the first couple weeks likely. As far as I have come to understand, you can do RF and Reg/Heroic Dragon Soul and get gear from both, with the RF gear being 384. If this is the case then I'll be doing RF on off nights to get my 4set quickly.
I'll be sad to have to swap my 391 T12 for 384 T13 in whatever slots I would have to, but the 4pc is goddly and I want it a.s.a.p.

384 raid finder, 397 Reg Dragon Soul, 410 Heroic Dragon Soul.

You probably won't take 4pc 384 T13 but it's a good option to use 2pc 384 + 2pc 397 T13 to get your 4pc bonus especially if your T12 boni were crap and your T13 boni are really good.

Moreover as a 10man Raider it's quite common to not get your full BiS Gear in time because of the stupid lootmechanics. So i'm pretty sure a lot of people can use 2-3 384 Items for small upgrades from 378.

Interesting. When did that change? Stat pools used to be symmetrical. This is the first time I've actually noted the marked difference. Perhaps I've been asleep for an expansion or two when it comes to itemisation.

Just checked items in Kara from TBC as well, the same system back then. I'm unsure if they have altered all items to fit the current system or what, but 2H have had more stats then 2x1H for a long time to my knowledge.
