Sucks to see Wandy KO'ed but at least it was Hendo. My two favorite fighters of all time are 1-1, I'm fine with that
Would like to see Hendo Bisping Jones and get himself some UFC gold. .

Hehe I never pray but I will that night. Hendo my fav all time. I'm seriously afraid JBJ is going to take him down and TKO him though.

I think if anything Jones would sub Hendo. Lets pray that Hendo lands that H-bomb!

Anyone else already waiting to be mad about how the UFC primetime shows for Jones/Hendo are going to play the Jones drunk driving incident off? I can already hear him talking about the fame going to his head and it'll never happen again, and now he's a better person and fighter than ever before.

I fully expect that to happen. If/when it does I will not watch the Jones part of that primetime.

I'm not a JDS fainboi or anything, but if anyone should be the current UFC "poster boy" it should be JDS.

Oh hell yeah. When Jones was up and coming, I was behind him 100%. I was on multiple forums saying how he's the next big thing even before he fought Bonner but now he just gets on my nerves. I am a JDS nut hugger, my favorite HW (Well will be once Fedor retires in a few months) But I'm a huge Big Nog fan and he's Junior's mentor.

Bones could be the next Ortiz. Nobody likes him, he is on his way to beat Tito's record for most LHW title defenses, both guys crashed their car, and both have a bloated head lol.

Now all Jon needs to do is find him a porn star and he'd be set!

Damn it, every time I see Silva vs. Franklin II I think UFC is trolling me, until I realize it's not Anderson Silva, it's Wanderlei. Too many Silvas in MMA. To be honest a replay of UFC 77 would probably get more PPV buys than 147 is going to do. Should've made it free.

Who ya got for Wandy vs. Franklin? I have Wandy winning the fight (who woulda guessed that? )
I love both fighters but I think Wandy has this one if he fights smart.

Franklin will be coming into the fight rusty and his last fight being a 205. Wandy will be coming off of his TKO of Cung Le and has been at 185 for a little while now and looks to have the weight cut thing down. This will be a catchweight fight (yet again) and will mean Wandy has to cut 5 less pounds. In their first fight I think that was the first time Wandy went under 205 and looked gassed from the weight cut, now that he seems to have it down I expect him to do better. Wandy was really competitive in their last fight especially with the (apparently bad) weight cut. Wandy also seems to be training even smarter and I expect him to fight smart as well.

It's been doing that to tons of people haha.
I think it would too. Would have been nice if they changed it to free, I think it's just going to be streamed illegally by americans.

I think the only saving grace to the card being pay-per-view is that they won't have any of the awful filler inbetween fights that happens with the free cards. The FX production is just terrible. Too much time lapses between bouts on free cards.

While Silva and Franklin are two of my favs, I'm so underwhelmed by the rest of the card there is a chance I won't watch it come Saturday.

Franklin vs silva is such an inconsequential fight. Neither of them have it in them to make a real title run at this point in their careers. That being said i think Silva will win it.

Even though Wandy is my favorite fighter of all time, I just can't see myself spending $45.00 on this card. The bars in my area almost never show UFC events so I doubt I'll be able to watch it at a bar which sucks.

Indeed. This seems to be a card for just Brazilians.

If I could afford it I would buy every PPV card including this one, but unfortunately I can't so I will be skipping this card. War Wand!

Rizzo got knocked the fuck out.

Here is the video for anyone who missed the fight. http://www.bjpenn.com/mmanews/2012/0...ews-29912.html
It takes a sec for the video to work.

Fedor retired after that fight. Shame he dodged real competition for the last 7-8 years. Would have been awesome to see him fight in the one MMA league that is relevant anymore. One of the best ever regardless.

It's good to see Fedor retiring on his own terms and with a win too. Not many fighters get to retire on their own terms and with a win.

I'm a fan of stick and move strategies, but, unlike Condit v. Diaz (where Condit was landing quite a bit on Diaz), that looked like all moving. I felt like Guida was stalling in a couple rounds. The only thing that was keeping him in the Eastern timezone was the cage...
