Jesus christ......I've never even heard a KO in MMA sound that nasty. He murdered that dude's brain.

Seems like there's a high profile boxing match tonight. Anthony Joshua vs. Andy Ruiz Jr.

It's in NY, I'd have gone if I had known ahead of time and could get great seats for a reasonable price. (Which is impossible in NY.)

It'll be an absolutely one sided battering.

I'm having flashbacks to Lewis vs Rahman. Joshua should never have been that poor, what the actual hell was that?

    Rakic is Crocop 2.0

What a gentleman, he did the Cross for Manuva before the fight.

    UFC 239 is tonight.

Any good boxing matches coming up? I'm filling out my calendar and I want to schedule it if there are.

Decent headliners on the card, shame about Ngannou/Dos Santos getting moved to last week.

As for boxing, nothing really excites me on the horizon. Few lesser title bouts and former contenders against nobodies, nothing that I'd tune into without someone really selling me on it.

    Last night:

I can't believe Masvidal won so quickly. I honestly expected Aslren to win in a fat wrestling match.

The women's comain event was kind of boring. I thought it was stopped early, but I had to wake up at 4:30 AM to drop my parents off at the airport so God bless.

I thought Tiago won rounds 1, 2, and Jon Jones won rounds 3, 4. Round 5 is a toss up, I could see it going either way. Tiago is pretty amazing to fight with what looked like a bad injury.

I think Tiago just had a strategy (no grappling) and a body type that was hard for Jon to deal with. If Tiagos knee didn't pop out at the first round I'd say he'd have won easily.

I think it's crazier that he was practicing that opening knee as a drill, 100% intending to use it to lay him out and it worked flawlessly. Has Askren historically been open to high knees that he knew this or just fucking angry and wanted to smash him with cockiness?

Yeah that Jones fight I think Jones is slightly ahead of Santos, even Dana thinks too. Santos need to completely dominate Jones in order to win the match.

I really wanted to see the rematch if possible, with a healthy knee Santos.

Amazed no one has already brought up tonight, considering the absolutely top draw headline fight of Miocic/Cormier.

Prelims starting soon, Devonte Smith should be worth watching, even if he says fighting his friend means it won't be the usual brutal affair (he's lying, it will)

As for the maincard, headline fight aside Pettis/Diaz should be a great bout and Romero/Costa could easily be fight of the night.

Well worth catching this one I suspect.

I thought Romero won. Not gonna lie, I was so amazed I wasn't keeping score at all, but I FEEL like Romero won.

Fucking Colby Covington in the audience with a MAGA hat.

You can do it dc. I believe.

God Cormier made Stipe his bitch in round 1.

    - - - Updated - - -

I can't believe the second round was all striking. Heavyweight striking. One kick only.

    - - - Updated - - -

I can't believe how tough Stipe is for tanking all of this face taps from DC.

    - - - Updated - - -

Third round clearly went to DC. He just hit Stipe more, I'd say.

DC has really good head and body movement for a short fat guy.
