Do you think gamers write faster than an average person due to the tiny time frame we have to write something? (while finishing a cast for instance)

How many wpm (words per minute) do an average person write? I don't know....

I myself am at 89 wpm, 441 keystrokes, no mistakes.

I'm a fairly slow typer, in the 50wpm range. I once had to take a typing test at a job that was random 4 letter words, but vast majority of them were nonsense eg "pubo, jkio." It really killed my wpm because i normally just quickly read ahead then type, but I couldn't comprehend quickly the garble.

I'm a fairly slow typer, in the 50wpm range. I once had to take a typing test at a job that was random 4 letter words, but vast majority of them were nonsense eg "pubo, jkio." It really killed my wpm because i normally just quickly read ahead then type, but I couldn't comprehend quickly the garble.

Yeah, that's a bad test when it's supposed to be "WORDS per minute" not "random crap per minutes"

I got 60, which is good considering I tend to look at my hands and type really fast, making several mistakes and going back and fixing them. So 60 without mistakes seems pretty good.

That's a terrible typing test. You don't type random words, you type sentences and thoughts.

But I got 73 WPM which is a bit low im usually in the low 80s.
