How to steam video from desktop.

After watching Blizzcon, unofficially off course, I saw that the guys streaming on justin or whatever were streaming their whole desktop and not just the video part. How do they do that, or what programs did they use?

The one I've used before was called Dyyno broadcaster, but it's only free a certain number of uses as far as I know.

Xsplit, is the most commonly used program

You can also use Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder + VH Screen Cap as an alternative to xsplit. While xsplit is currently free, it will cost money at the release. Preorders are up to buy it at a cheaper rate, but I still prefer to use AFMLE and will continue to be free (the VH screen cap is just a directshow driver). Fairly straightforward setup too.
