PC Build for "Black November" / Christmas

Hello everyone! This is my first post here at MMO-Champion / the Build a PC section, so please be gentle. My girlfriend has agreed to allow me to purchase a new computer for Christmas, and I just don't seem to be finding the right prefab. PC specs on any of the brand name computers (HP etc.) - so I thought I might come here for guidance.

To give a bit more background as to what I'm looking for (and I'm not sure what I'm looking for is even possible on the budget I've put together), I thought I would give some more details. Before you review the list I've created below, two of the key specs I am looking for in a new machine is both an Intel CPU chip (i7 or i5) as well as an nVidia brand graphics card. With that, any direction that you folks could point me in would be of great assistance. I've been out of the PC building scene for almost 10 years, so I'd prefer to get something pre-built at a reasonable price if at all possible. Thank you for your help in making this man's Christmas an awesome one!

Here's a build I put together. The numbers next to each part correspond to a part number on tigerdirect.com , copy and paste them into their search bar to be taken to the part. This build uses SLI 550 Ti's, and it comes to 1265 including OS, but no peripherals, leaving you a good chunk of change to pick out whichever monitors/mouse/keyboard you prefer. Please let me know what you think.

Case: A702-0008 (100) Case is good looking and has 5 fans

Includes Windows 7, 2 monitors and the 500R case which you can easily change to something else if you prefer, save 30 by going 400R or something else around $100.

(you obviously have to put these pieces together, I wont/can't really recommend any pre-built ones)

Very well set up thread with all the information needed, i would take something similar to what notarget posted, except take a good p67 board and k series cpu. Perhaps throwing in a OCZ Vertex 3 for the os with the money saved going from z68 to p67.

EDIT: might also consider waiting for LGA2011, although they might not be in price range, the prices on sandy bridge might go down(might.).

Hehe that was a typo for the CPU, obviously go for the 2500k. I'll edit the link.
