Mouse Issiue

I tried to google it, but since I'm not exactly sure how to explain it, it's hard to google it.

I have a wireless Gearhead mouse. The cursor on screen will sometimes get...well...it acts like it is stuck, and slowly moving. It will stop, go, stop, go, stop go, several times when I'm moving the mouse. Like it is lagging.

Sounds like its having problems with the connection.

Battery charged, is the receiver placed close to the mouse itself? Anything else that transmits wireless signals in the area - such as a Cellphone?

The other possibility is a more classic mouse one - is the sensor area perhaps obstructed? Even a simple strand of hair can mess up the sensor.

The sensor area is clear. The batteries are fresh, the receiver is on the back of my comp though.
