Hey Guys,
I'm wanting to get some upgraded performance for light gaming. My current machine ran everything find on my 19", but not so much on my 23" monitor.
Games:
- Casual Wow with some light raiding and pvp
- Skyrim (may play on xbox)
- SWTOR
Settings: I'd like to play on, or near max settings with decent fps if possible.
Budget: Around $600
Resolution: 1920 x 1080
Here's my current build: (sorry can't post links/URLs)
- IN WIN Case ( newegg dot com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811108028)
- Corsair 450W Power Supply tigerdirect dot com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3287208&SRCCODE=WEBLET101SATSFY)
- 4GB Kingston DDR2 800 RAM ( newegg dot com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820134114)
- Intel Core 2 Duo E6420 2.13GHZ Processor ( newegg dot com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115016)
- Crappy Intel Motherboard ( newegg dot com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813121068R)
- GeForce 7900GS 256MB Graphics Card ( newegg dot com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150202)
- And some old run of the mill 240GB HDD
So should I upgrade parts, or go with one of the build ideas below?
