No, two other bowls have reached 3OT: the 2003 Hawaii Bowl (Hawaii vs. Houston) and the 2006 Orange Bowl (Penn State vs. Florida State).

They don't match the uniforms very well, but at least they're better than these abominations from a few years ago.



Anything that's not hi-liter yellow I can only view as an improvement. The new helmets just look extra gaudy to me with the chromed face masks and chin straps.
