Change the taskbar icon color without changing taskbar color? (W7)

So I've been changing my Windows 7 theme around, and I wanted something to go with my black desktop background, but I wasn't exactly sure how to change the taskbar icons without changing the taskbar color... Any help? This is what it currently looks like:

I would like to change the color of the squares behind skype, mozilla, etc.

I've been using This Visual style since windows 7 launch and loved every second of it. Nice and minimal and gets rid of the fugly orb start button. Instructions are in the readme file in it, use the program startkiller to kill the default orb and then the one that shows is just another program shortcut like your firefox or skype buttons.

As a preview i took a screenshot of my desktop and cut my taskbar in half, left half on top right side on the bottom so its not a super wide image.
First chrome window is what it looks like on mouse over, the second one is what the active window looks like.

You can try this. I don't use it, but I believe it works for what you want it to.
