Quick Question on Mail

Quick question that's important to me, as I'm a craft nut.

Say you want to get all the crafts. Can you mail mats to your alts, and finished pieces? Can you mail cross-faction?

I ask primarily 'cause I plan on being mostly Republic, but will definitely have 2 Empire alts.

No cross faction at this time, but you can mail to your alts as far as I can recall.
