Hey guys, ive recently upgraded my PC, went from geforce 9800 to gtx 560, and also upgraded from win xp 32 bit to win7 64 bit. Suddenly WoW runs a lot worse , no idea why... all the drivers are updated. Even when i run the game on the lowest settings it still doesnt run smoothly. PC specs are Q660 quad core processor, 4gb ram and GTX 560. Any idea what causes this? i doubt its just because of the 64bit incompatibility.
Is this a fresh installation of WoW or is it a copy from the previous installation of Windows? If it is a copy make sure you delete your WTF / Cache / Data / Interface folders.
gpu drivers are updated. Yes it is an installed version from back when i had XP on, i cleared those folders - the loading is faster but still im on around 20-30 fps. do you suppose i need to uninstall and reinstall entirely?

well took all night but i reinstalled WoW, its working great now. Seems the transition from xp to 7 didnt go smoothly, its fine now though thanks for your help.
