PhenomII x4 and i3-2100 performs about the same in games, except you can overclock the Phenom. Where the balance dips heavily on Intel side is the upgradeability, as you can swap the i3-2100 later for anything up to i7-2600 (and supposedly Ivy Bridge next year) which will run laps around anything from AMD.

If you should upgrade or not is another question. For WoW you can probably increase your framerate 200-300% by picking up i3-2100 to replace your current processor, in other games difference would be more in 20-30% range.
Never going to log into this garbage forum again as long as calling obvious troll obvious troll is the easiest way to get banned.
    Trolling should be.

What socket should i get i heard 1156 was dead or i have heard 1155 is dead which should i get?

1155 is the current socket, 1156 is *dead* as in no more processors will be made for it.

The i3-2100 will require socket 1155, won't fit/work in socket 1156, Ivy bridge(next gen intel) will work in socket 1155, so it still has life in it.
