That power supply isn't enough to power a decent video card, let alone a 6870 + a 125W CPU. You're going to want around 550+ for a single GPU setup. Make sure it's from a reputable company.

Also, the i3 2100 should prove to give you a lot more performance over the AMD chip you linked (in terms of gaming only) for the same amount of money. Sandy Bridge micro ATX mobos cost about the same.

Intel is the best for the buck right now. AMD has went down a lot on the CPU side. A FIRST GEN I3 beats out the phenoms and thurban 6 cores.

So do you think i would be better off going with this for the power supply?

I have also heard the same thing about AMD. Although like i said im not very hardware savy at all. So this sounds better?

    -Intel Core i3-2100 Sandy Bridge 3.1GHz LGA 1155 65W Dual-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 2000 BX80623I32100

Its a budget build and the PII perform better than the I3 for the prices in all benchs, tho the 365 that you have is sold out and has been for a few days, upgrade ur psu also...

As the above poster thread, only for multi-threaded applications like video encoding, compression, etc. Hands down that 2100 will beat it out in gaming.
