I think the X with the KS sound makes the most sense. Think of the words Styx and Axis. Tyxis would rhyme with Axis, so Tike-sis would be my answer. With the nature of X here, you almost need to break the K sound into the first syllable and the S sound into the second.

Although I'd be okay with saying it similar to the name Tychus from Starcraft also, kind of dropping the "s" from the "ks" sound, so Tie-kiss. Similarly you could drop the K sound and say Tie-sis.

Tike-sis would be the most proper in my eyes, but Tie-kiss or Tie-sis would be okay with me too.

It's a single consonant between vowels (despite the two letters; blame the Greeks) so the preceding vowel is long: 'sigh'.

That's actually a nice contrast between psychology and tyxis (which, despite being one letter, is two consonants). Good example

Here's the biggest catch: you're talking about a name. However the creator of the name says it's to be pronounced is correct.

My impulse is Tyke-sis, but if you corrected me that would be that.

So I could spell my name Bob and claim it's pronounced Carl?

Tie Shis would be a way to pronounce it using the Chinese pronunciation for the letter x.

    I would pronounce it Tick-siss or Tike-siss.
Obviously if you corrected me, I'd use your own pronounciation, it's your name after all!

Obviously not the same thing. But if you made up a name like Deleshaun, I could claim it's pronounced Day-lay-shawn or Deli-shawn or Di-lay-sha-un.
