Item color codes

Hi, I'm curious about item color codes (common, uncommon, epic etc), as I've seen some dark orange/red color for my blaster I got when I specced Sniper. What colors are there except grey, white, green, blue and purple? What does the dark orange color code mean? Is there also the orange "legendaries" we're used to? Anything else?

I think orange means fully moddable, ie you could wear it to endgame if you want to.
