I hope this is the right forum, if not, mods, please feel free to move accordingly. It's related to XBOX 360 but more of a setup question.

I am having difficulty finding a cabling option that will allow me to connect the XBOX 360 to my widescreen TV in HD resolution AND be able to have sound through my surround sound system. Normally, I would be able to connect an HDMI cable plus the optical audio cable and be able to route video and sound accordingly; however, I am currently using the optical audio connection on my surround sound received for the input from the AT&T U-Verse box.

I need a way that I can connect the XBOX to the TV for HD Video and the XBOX to the surround sound receiver for audio. I've tried the Rocketfish coaxial cable bundle, but the audio cables don't break off far enough from the main wire for me to reach the received.

Any help is appreciated, as this has been frustrating me for some time.
