Followthrough macros are no-longer working?

So... this macro USE to work prior to 4.3.... nolonger works

/cast [@focus,nodead] holy shock; holy shock

If it didn't have a focus it would default to myself to holy shock (to build holy power)... but now it no longer works like that.

Also followthough macros like

/castsequence lightning bolt, lightning bolt, lightning bolt
/cast lava burst

nolonger works either...

Nor...

/cast [@focus,nodead] hammer of justice; hammer of justice

Whats going on with these changes? This effects PVP so much (the focus, fallthrough most for things like CC)

nodead doesn't properly imply exists in more recent versions of WoW - it's a known bug.
