finally putting together a desktop pc and have compiled a list of parts i will be purchasing tomorrow unless i terribly missed something and have to re-work the list.
CPU/GPU (going with the AMD llano APU for integrated graphics) A8-3850 FM1 socket
Mobo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128518
CPU heatsink/fan http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835103099
PSU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817171031 500W, should this be enough power output for what im running, i only plan on mildly OC'ing the apu?
monitor http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824236079
I already have a case, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811129066 , mouse, keyboard, windows 7 UE 64 bit, and RAM http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231428
anything look like a terrible mistake before i go ahead and get to building? i do know the ram is "designed for intel" but at least a few internet sources says its compatible with AMD... other than that i cannot tell if theres any huge discrepancy with compatibility or anything but, since its my first build in over 6 years i figured i'd put it up for speculation.
oh, and the reason for no stand alone GPU is budget, mixed with the fact that the llano APU has enough balls for what im looking for it to do (wow) and theres always the possibility for tossing in another radeon 6000 series for dual graphics later down the road if i find it necessary.
any feedback would be great! thanks so much!
