There is an authenticator...and a special in game store?

It will be interesting to see what will be in the in game store and if it relates or compares to the store you get access to if you bought a CE of the game. I will get the authenticator as soon as the Droid version comes out of course. Had problems with my WoW account before the authenticator, no problems since.

So, will you guys be getting an authenticator and what do you think will be in the special store?

Europe: Coming Soon
No matter hopefully they'll be available on the 20th when I'm getting it that day hopefully.

I believe it will be available on the 15th Kojane. When I ordered mine yesterday it said NA 13th and Europe 15th and now on the Origin website the Europe part is gone completely and the only available date is the 15th.

No? I'm sure plenty of people complained about Blizzard releasing an authenticator and rewarding you with a pet and plenty of people will complain about this rewarding you with some store filled with vanity items. People have no reason to whine at all if downloading the app to your phone also gives you store access, which I believe it does.

I would also like to add that rewarding people for being extra secure with there accounts is a no brainer. It saves them a lot of hassle in the long run. I believe that both bioware and blizzard do it for just that.

Whereas blizzard gives you a useless pet, you get an in game store in swtor. Won't know how awesome the store is until they open it up, but I like the sound of it so far.

Yea does sound cool. The only reason I never got a blizz one was because I have always been super careful with my account. I might just get the SWTOR one if theres some pretty good stuff in the store

Your careful guarding of your account was nothing, a fart toward your accounts security. Essentially your blind luck is why nothing happened to your account.

The security key vendor and CE vendor most likely sell look kits for our companions and orange gear for us to mod. They originally said the CE store would sell gear equal to other options available at your level but just have different looks.

Sad but true, however, I dont understand why anyone would ever really care about it, seems like such a minor thing to hook yourself up on. Personally I'd imagine you can buy different vanity things in the special store or "DLC" thingies, considering it's EA.

Shrug, my WoW account was hacked once, after 3 months of me not playing it. I don't use the email for bnet for anything else. I never log into anything without checking security. I don't use email for anything. I'm behind a no-outbound without permission firewall. I'm confident that I either had no keylogger or that it wasn't able to communicate even if I did. I hadn't entered the password for my email or my b-net in 3 months, at all, in any way. Changed password before I canceled my sub.

Turns out my email got hacked. Literally hacked, as in software security exploited. They had full access to that email and my bnet. I had authenticator, but have no idea how they could have removed it. My real name isn't even on my bnet or that email address, so there's no way that they could have gotten my security question answers or anything else by checking my personal history. There was nothing to even attach it to me.

Nevertheless, they circumvented the authenticator as well.

Yes people can have there emails hacked if there unlucky. I know that. But lets face it, most people who get hacked are fuckin retards who either fall for phising emails or who are stupid enough to share account details.
