    Upgrading my laptop to play SWTOR

    Hey guys i'm wondering what i should upgrade on my laptop to allow me to run Swtor smoothly.


    Heres my specs:
    System Model: HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC

    Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) II P340 Dual-Core Processor (2 CPUs), ~2.2GHz
    Memory: 4096MB RAM
    Card name: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470

    Nothing you can really upgrade there to be honest...
    You likely already have the maximum amount of RAM that machine can support... and nothing else is upgradable without rebuilding it completely.

    As Djinni said there isn't much you can do to upgrade it without a rebuild, which would probably be as expensive as buying a new one anyway. Laptops aren't really the best for gaming unless you spend in excess of £1000/$1500 (USD) for one.

    Only thing you can upgrade is changing HDD to SSD. It will speed up starting everything (windows, games, programs) significantly, but it will not improve framerates one bit.
    Never going to log into this garbage forum again as long as calling obvious troll obvious troll is the easiest way to get banned.
