can any1 confirm that in order to play you need to purchase gametime before you start because some ppl are saying that the free 30days is only avalible once a subscription is made?
As long as your key is input on swtor.com, you can play until Dec 22. Beyond that you must have a subscription set up to get your 30 days.
you have to put card info before playing yes, same as WoW or any other game. it won't charge you until the free month is up though.
