    I got Old Republic, but

Walmart left it in that locked plastic shell.

I have tools, any better ideas other then declaring Hammertime?

    I got it open.

Well, one time.. I rented a video from blockbuster and they left the yellow theft prevention thing in it, and I tore the case apart just to get to my rented movie.. So I think we all know what I'd do in this situation.

Try to see if you can bend it open with a knife, otherwise yeah. Hammertime I guess

Duh, go back to the store and have them open it.

Not to mention you're probably lying since those cases have security tags on them that would have tripped the alarms at the doors.

if going back to walmart isnt an option you can pry the case apart pretty easily. I worked at blockbuster for awhile and those cases got broken all the time. If the cases are similar you can use a pair of needle nosed pliers and jam them into one of those small openings and pull the handles apart to crack the case then just use the pliers normally to grab the case and pull it apart until you can get at the goods. Just be careful and dont hurt yourself.

they have deactivation pads at almost every register that deactivate the security tags, the lock on the case however is something that the electronics section usually takes care of.

i work at wal mart and those things are pieces of shit

you can just bash them against a table a few times and they will break open

and no one there gives a shit we lose them all the time or they get stolen

Pretty much this. Just make sure to bring the receipt, or they're going to assume you stole it.

Walmart will take an hour, also there is traffic and people I hate those.
Pictures of my idea, and blurry (damned phone) receipt

umm... if you go at the sides with a screwdriver it should open.
and for impact, you could easily switch the bit out of it and drill a hole into it.

it's not like breaking into PLASTIC is hard dude. just break it open.
