I play with a laptop connected with an external monitor, keyboard and mouse.
It's a pretty weird setup ..

desktop, my laptop is a mac, which I use for everything but gaming.

Same here, always used my laptop but with it plugged into so many accessories. TV as main monitor, keyboard, wireless mouse, ipod charger... its like a technology frankenstein

I play on an iMac, hence its a desktop buy has many laptop components, like the mobile 6970 1g video solution but coupled to a desktop 2400s processor (quad core 3.1)... but then again, no laptop has a twenty seven inch screen with 2560x1440 resolution

My laptop is dedicated to Uni and work. I didn't pour so much cash and time into my desktop to not use it to game.
