Ok, I am not just talking about the animations, but the whole process of dancing with your toon in the game.
Do you feel that dancing in SWTOR could be more interactive, representative and perhaps fun ?
Age of Conan has a nice dancing system, apart from the typical /dance (see below
- A Dance Skill System built from the ground up for dancing players!
- Instant Dance moves that buff you and your allies in combat.
- Dance combos that deal direct dance damage. These work just like the melee combos that already exist in Age of Conan! The player has to press buttons while the character performs the moves! Afterall, who just wants to sit and watch their character dance?
- Different Dance Schools to specialize in: Salsa, Ballroom, Abstract, Modern, Interpretive and Barn!
- Special dance trainers to teach the newest, hottest dance moves!
- Trademark dances! Elite dance moves that we all know and love. These include the Charleston, the Macerena, the Cha-cha, the Electric Slide, the Solider Boy, and more!
- Group Dances! Special dance combos done by small teams working in pairs to increase dance combo effectiveness. Examples include the one-step and the tango.
- Raid Dances! Special dance combos done by larger groups. Examples include the Ho-down and the dance from Thriller! (end-game raid dance)
- Culture Dances! Can only be performed by those native to the region of the dance.
- New Dance Content!
- Dance Instances! Special dance-only instances where regular attacks are not permitted, and only dance damage applies.
- Dance Bosses! Dance-bosses in group instances must be defeated using dance combos to unlock special dance reward content.
