Ah, very interesting, perhaps the legion will have presence in the digging we do.

BC wasn't all there was to the burning legion. They are still very much around.

It makes sense they are part of the TGC for WotA.

More stuff made to rake in the cash, instead of trying to make one of this expansions "features" look like less of a failure.

Darn, but I shall not give my hopes up! Something cool could happen with the burning legion and the next patch or expansion.

That's all out TCG in my opinion, Archeaology for the legion sounds awesome.

does anyone actually play the TCG anymore? or is it pretty much just another vanity item cash shop for blizzard?

Does this strike anyone else as being a Mists of Pandaria launch item similar to the Troll thing that we got from the Pre-Cataclysm event?
Combine with the "eye of the legion" and the "feldrake" that's looking more and more likely. Yay Legiony event! It's been to long since we heard from them!

A lot of people didn't read your post apparently, Pj.

While I liked the idea of an additional "Legion" section in the archaeology book, most of the Burning Legion activity in WoW takes place in Outland. I couldn't see Blizzard troubling itself to add new archaeology to older and obsolete content.

So many of the desirable and interesting vanity items end up being TGC loot; this makes sense, of course, if you want to give people an incentive to throw money at you.

I realize that the TGC loot cards are vanity items and have no real effect or bearing on the game, but I can't help frowning at this practice. For example, I imagine that all of the downtime between wipes in raids could have been made slightly more interesting if items such as the foam sword rack were available for the general public to work towards.

4.3.2 is about to go live, and the Demon Hunter's Aspect now is known to be a TCG item that makes you look like a real demon hunter for 5 minutes.
This will be awesome if you get to look like Illidan's new model with some color variation perhaps, tattoos and all.

If you can go into combat with this look, I will die a happy man. Depending on the cool down,.... I can finally pretend to be a demon hunter .

5 minute duration, 30 minute cooldown, so it's the same as most other shapeshift items.

Yes how DARE they try to make some money. Those fiends! The card makers should start helping with WoW since they most likely have the experience to do so!

most other being 1 other (leyara's locket) most other shapeshift items are half hour durations, with varying cds, like the locket from azshara (the zone) is 30 minute duration, 15 minute cd, gnomeragan/sin'jin pride is half hour duration, 4 hour cd, etc
