    Mage pvp help

    Right now my mage is 1700 rated for RBGs. I'm Frost spec, but I'm thinking of making my os Arcane for pvp. Thinking of doing Frost in base bgs and Arcane in CTF bgs.

    Is that a good idea? If so what is a good spec for Arcane pvp.
    If what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. Then I should be a god by now.

    If you find Frost lacking in appeal a preferable "off-spec" would be Fire which serves as an excellent harasser spec in Battlegrounds. I honestly don't think a competent team would let you get any damage going as Arcane since the spec is so reliant on the Arcane Blast stacks. Fire offers a lot more, you should try it out, IMHO.
