I couldn't agree more. Absolutely love that game and its soundtrack. That was actually my first RPG, I remember being a little kid and getting emotional about the story.. every aspect of the game was immersed in tragedy. I've never played another game that had SO many characters I loved.
I had a really hard time only choosing a couple songs.
This next song was probably the most emotional for me. Lots of sad memories to go with it.
Mike Tyson's Punch Out, I sucked at this game, barely even played it. But I remember watching my older brother beat the shit out of everything then die on Mike Tyson many many times. Actually, I spent a lot of time as a little kid watching my older brothers play video games. I actually really enjoyed it.
The donkey kong games had some really memorable tunes for me aswell like:
Guessing diddy kong racing counts as a donkey kong game? I did absolutely love the music in it atleast, sadly I don't own a copy of the game :<
Might just be my nostalgia talking but I feel that gaming music was just better at creating atmospheres before.
