[Movies] Have you ever watched a movie even though you knew it would be crap?

I'm about to watch "Cloverfield" after viewing the trailer on Youtube. The trailer looks like complete and utter horse doo doo but I want to watch it anyway. I always find myself watching terrible horror movies, even though I know that they'll be ass before I watch them. I even have a friend who is on a quest to find the worst movie ever made. So far him and my brother have agreed on "The Marine" as the worst movie ever made.

-Do you ever watch movies that you know will be crap?

Plenty of times. Far Cry is the best bad movie I've seen so far. Highly recommended to watch!

Not normally, if I start watching one and it seems to be crap I normally stop it. A few months ago me and a friend did watch Beastmaster 3 just for the hell of it.

While working at a cinema I did this lots, before shifts, inbetween shifts... A few examples:

    Cheaper By the Dozen
    Van Helsing
    Constantine
    The Passion of the Christ
    Troy
    The Phantom of the Opera
(the only movie I've actually walked out from because I couldn't stand it)

On the TV? Too many times to count. Just the other day I watched some godawful crap with that bloke from Grey's Anatomy about him falling in love with his best friend who's about to get married, and he's chosen as her bridesmaid. Guuuuh it was bad. And I knew it would be. Then I watched the end of Mamma Mia! and hated that too. Even though I've seen it in its entirety and hated it, all while knowing beforehand that I would hate it.

Why? I like having the TV on while I crochet... Or something.

Was it so crap that you wished you never watched?

If so, send it my way.

All the time. It's pretty much a hobby of mine.
Slightly OT, but if you think Cloverfield is a going to be a bad movie... you don't watch a lot of movies, do you?

Yeah actually. I watched "Return to the Oz" the other day, knowing it was going to be terrible, but I'v never seen it so I figured "why not"? It was much darker then "The Wizard of Oz", but also much, much cornier.

I'm assuming you mean the 1996 Crash? Because 2004 Crash was was an excellent movie.

Why is there so much hate on Cloverfield? I basically loved the movie, it's not just your typical godzilla kind of thing.

But on topic, I saw the first 2 Twilight movies and I knew I was going to hate them. And boy did I hate them.
