2 mafia factions of 3 each, 3 traitors and a serial killer is 10 evils and 10 townies?
1 cop, 1 doctor, 1 jail keeper, 1 jack, 3 masons and 3 vanilla townies?
maybe a decent mixed setup (serial killer could be vigilante maybe, serial killer is a bit .. meh as a faction being totally alone, but could provide for some amusing playstyles i guess)
not necessarily this, but something like this, 2 mafia factions so we only need 1 investigator etc

if you go vigilante, i'd go for a 2 mafia setup of 4 members each, then 2 traitors, to keep the numbers even
maybe swap the jack out for the vigilante to keep it 10 on 10, good and evil

could go with 3 mafia/wolf factions of 3 each with one traitor :O with the vigi, jk, cop, seer, something for 3rd group, and then maybe 2 masons and 3 vanillas.

4 night kills would make the game ridiculously short and probably absolutely terrible and no fun

I'ld sooner see 2 Mafia factions, Solo SK and 2 Cops than a Mafia/Wolf and Cop/Seer scenario. Whether the Cops are independant PIs or in a team would be up to you. If in a team add a Jail Keeper and that can be that team rather than the Masons.
Though, I would really like to see the Vigilante and Masons back since they're 2 aspects of this game I haven't gotten to play with yet.
