Do you have anything substantial to discuss, or just quips?

Are you going to defend what they're complaining about?

hes not going to bring anything else. most of these guys never do, just spout rhetoric and offer nothing substantial. i actually like the conservative posters that bring actual ideas and facts to the table, because imo the liberal ideology doesnt offer an answer to everything. this is of course different than the idea that it offers nothing at all, which fits squarely in limbaughland

Human progress isn't measured by industry. It's measured by the value you place on a life.

    Just, be kind.

I get the same reaction when I hear republicans complain about Obama's socialist views and than look at the Dow.

I wish they would do one about Romney income taxes. Basically, it would be a picture of a stripper with all the good parts blacked out.

Of course they can't do that because of the faux outrage it would generate, but I think it might get the point across in a humorous way.

I'd rather people drew the connection between having most of your income be from capital gains and dividends. With, why it would be important to know what he did during the years of wall street shenanigans that lead to the economic turmoil we have been in. How could he not been a part of shenanigans, when for the two years we know, he reported a combined 20 million income from wall street.

I wonder how much he made liquidating his stocks in 2008.

I don't think you can make a direct connection. That is sort of a guilt by association.

Wall street's meltdown was more because of the banks and financial services industry, and not selfish/corrupt corporations in general.

The association is the connection. Do you think someone making around 10 million a year on wallstreet, had anything in the top 5 banks in 2008? What was he doing during the summer of 2008 when Dow was dropping and Bush was saying the economy was self fixing? What did he do with those stocks in September 2008, when the RNC did not have the economy as a bold point and 3 banks failed? There is a lot of interesting stuff that should be revealed in just those 4 months alone.

Sorry to burst your bubble (excuse the pun!) but a guy making $10M is not exactly a big player on Wall St.

By himself, no. But in the aggregate, yes, they are. He didn't just have his money sitting around in a saving account.

Another Green Energy battery-maker has filed for bankrupcy. A123 had got a $249 mil loan guarantee from the DoE. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-1...ankruptcy.html

Read your article closer. A123 received $249 million, not half a billion. Furthermore, this is bankruptcy protection/reorganization, not liquidation. The company will still be in operation.
