Actually come to think of it, I know how I feel, I'm in my downed state!

[QUOTE=Mif;15380327]I'm just glad this lounge room has cheaply made chinese air conditioning tech that keeps the room at 20*C. Which is rather lovely after yesterdays efforts in 36*C (97*F).
Ahhhh.......the savior of my 3 years in Singapore Funny...how you get rly crap Chinese stuff here, and the good stuff abroad. But I digress...
Hmm this has gone quite off topic...
Edge is gonna be mad
Lolz....well, maybe they're having a whisky night and will be lenient I know I'm having a good red wine one
But I've never known them to close a thread for going offtopic...
Anyway....ummm.....yes...characters. Oh, and names.
Well, I want one. And I hope they have a name. Yes. That would make me happy.
yup thanks everyone though i was wondering if anyone has any tips for naming conventions?
I want to follow lore and intend to create a Norn or a human as my main.. so any links/suggestions are great. I'm particulary struggling on human names. I know that Norn based names tend to be scandinavian, but thats all i got basically.
Guru *shudder* has a thread about name lore etc: http://www.guildwars2guru.com/forum/...es-t12713.html
ah ty must have missed it
meh they don't seem to have much on human names :/
You could always use your own name for a human nickname!
I am pretty sure there will be people doing so, although i am sure i am not one of them. It just seems like a stupid idea! :P
Has there been any light shed on whether or not we'll be able to use a single name, no spaces?
Good, can't handle a suffix anymore.
Ok i found a few things about humans.
Obviously Divinity's Reach is the Human city and according to the wiki refugees from Ascalon, Cantha, Elona and even people of Orrian descent live here. I'm assuming that our Humans we create are likely to have the same heritage.
According to the GW2 guru thread:
SO to keep within the lore; English, Asiran, Arabian/Hebrew names are most appropiate for Humans that live in Divinity's Reach.Human names depend on the nation, but they tend to share the kinds of names which would be seen in rl in the area that the nation is influenced by. Ascalon=English; Kurzick=German; Luxon=Greek; Canthan=Asiran; Orr=Arabian/Hebrew
I'm not sure about Elona though, I can't find out more about Humans that lived in that continent.
Can anyone agree/disagree with this?
