    [H] Lost in Azeroth@Sunstrider - 8/8 10Hc - LF Mage/Rogue

    Who are we?
Lost in Azeroth is a Horde guild on Sunstrider. We came into existence on February 10th 2012.

We have decided to take the route of raiding on a casual/semi-hardcore basis, choosing to raid on a 3 day/4 hour schedule (Weds/Thurs/Sun - 19:30 to 23:30). For us, this means that we, and any potential applicants who may have real life commitments are able to raid with relative ease, though they may not have been able to do so in a 4 or 5 day raiding guild.

    Recruitment

    Tank
    Full, sorry.

    Healer
    Full, sorry.

    DPS
    - Mage.
    - Rogue.

As a note, we will consider any spec or class, as we will ALWAYS take the player and not the class.

    Progression

    Tier 13
    Dragon Soul
    8/8 Normal.
    8/8 Heroic.

    Tier 12
    Firelands
    7/7 Normal.
    6/7 Heroic.

    Guild Expectations
Like any other guild, we do have requirements and expectations of our members and applicants. We feel they are reasonable and achievable for any player looking to raid in Cataclysm. They are as follows:

You are expected to have prepared your character’s equipment for progression raiding, this means that you have farmed as much, if not all of your gear upgrades available in Cataclysm 5man Hour of Twilight Heroics, and where possible, from Tier 12 content, and Dragon Soul (Looking for Raid difficulty, at least). These items should also be enchanted and gemmed with the suitable enhancements.

    • You are expected to have the correct raiding spec for your role and class. There are many external sources available to help you with this if you are unsure, though our applicants would be expected to have the appropriate knowledge in their class to be able to make these decisions themselves.

    • You are expected to be able to raid for at least 2 of the 3 raiding days on our schedule every week. There are situations, as we all know, that cannot be avoided, and as such, we can make exceptions. Saying that however, for the majority, a 3 day/4 hour schedule should not be too demanding.

    • When you attend a raid, you are expected to have enough of the appropriate buff food, flasks, and if applicable to your role: mana/haste/whatever potions. The guild will make the best effort to supply feasts where possible to relieve our raiders of the requirement to farm or buy food buffs, but until then, you are expected to bring your own.

    • You are expected to make sure that you have read up/watched and overall learnt the encounters that we are progressing on. If the raid leader has to explain entire fights to a whole raid, a lot of progress time is lost in our short schedule. However, we are happy to clarify anything a raider may not have understood.

    • Last of all, you are expected to be able to accept criticism, and to be able to own up to your mistakes, and be prepared to work on them to prevent the same situation arising again.

While I apologise for such a long and in-depth list of requirements, we ask these from everyone to make the guild experience as a whole more enjoyable for the guild members, and the guild management too.

    Our Goals
As a guild, we will strive to offer our members a stable guild ran by dedicated players, on a raiding schedule that does not interfere with real life commitments, while still providing reasonable, steady progression raiding. At a later date, we may try to organise raids for unrostered alts and for our social members within the guild, so as not to leave them out of the guild raiding experience.

    Contact Info
If this all interests you, you can:

    - Drop an application onto our guild website, located at www.lia-guild.net/recruitment.
    - Whisper Solynna, Khargillian, Selrah or Nevershields in-game on Sunstrider.

    Final Words
Lost in Azeroth thanks you for taking the time to read through this, and do hope to meet some of you in our guild chat some time soon.

Still looking for a Resto Druid and/or Holy Paladin for our 10man team.

More ranged DPS applications are also welcome!

Moonkin and Ele Shaman spots are still open, but you'll need a Resto OS for both of these. For Melee, we also need a Combat Rogue.
