The Hawk editions are supposed to be higher binned cards, so you could probably take #1 for the 560 Ti's if you try. :P I'll be willing to bet you could get more and higher clocks for less voltage than myself and Fuzzykins, for example.

1265MHz crashed Unigine on one of the last tests...looks like no 1300MHz for me. Not that it matters...my daily OC for the sake of my ears will be 1125MHz/6400MHz at 1.112V (stock volts.)

Just keep my 1225MHz report for the rankings. I just wanted to see what the absolute breakpoint was.

Anyway yeah, 7600MHz (1900MHz) whitescreened my monitor almost immediately during the Unigine run. I could still hear the music track playing in the background.

3DMark11 had far fewer artifacts during the early tests, almost none at all for the undewater scenes. The jungle scenes with tessellation had quite a few.

But yeah, you managed to complete runs, so I'm leaving it with your best clocks. That's still absolutely nuts though.

FM doesn't like the only official 7970 compatible driver I guess. Hmm, maybe the 7770 release changes things... Let's see.

EDIT: No new drivers, but supposedly the reports will be fixed retroactively any day now. Oh I also see that it lists the PowerPlay 2D mode clocks instead of the overclocked 3D settings...oh well.

I really wouldn't recommend this thread to any GTX 590 owners. Whereas the Radeon HD 6990 has high-quality VRMs, the GTX 590's VRMs are woefully inadequate for overvolting.

Speaking of which, I was just talking to Drunkenvalley about this and he was like "omg that's bs Afterburner can be used for whatever card!"

Idk if it's only an NVidia thing perhaps or if it's truly just for MSI (that's what I thought at least) but go ahead and use the Asus equivalent/GPU-Z.

Afterburner can be used w/ basically everything however in the case of say Sapphire 6950 the Trixx software allows for a much higher overclocking than afterburner does. MSI afterburner basically locked me @ 6970 reference stock frequencies where as trixx let me go loads above that but the performance is just not amazing or worth it to go higher than a factory 6970 OC.

in the mean time i downloaded the basic version and ran a P test on 3dmark11 and compared it to a P test i did with my 590's an my old 990x:
