How do i use the mystic coins + forge?

So as title says, how exactly do i use the mystic coins?

Just another ingredient that can be used to create certain objects.
My friend put in a mystic coin, a buff food, a wine bottle sold by the forge vendor, and... one other thing I can’t remember. It gave her a box that acted as a feast does in WoW.
I'm sure there are many other uses though.

You can also combine 4 items at same quality to recieve random item as well
(god i'm addicted to it like gambles, good thing its free).

So which armor pieces work with the Mystic Coins? Everything I try won't work with the coins..

It's an idea, you're not using the proper amount of components, and the proper component, with mystic coins.
