Is it normal to lose all of your characters and achievements every Beta patch? I don't know anyone else in the Beta to ask if it's happening to them, so figured I'd ask here.

Yes, they clear it every patch.

Every beta I have done did this. you will be wiped regularly so dont get attached to anything.
