Norn. Giant viking-esque race with the (in my opinion) largest and most gorgeous main city in the game. Plus they can transform into animals...oh and their music is insanely well done.

Charr, because I fell in love with them as soon as I saw them for the first time in Prophecies.
EDIT: And probably Norn... I really do love the viking-type races. The Nord and Orc really attracted me in Skyrim, so it's no surprise as to why I'm interested in the Norn and Charr ^^

I like humans since I can relate to them more. Ofcourse I will try some of the other races aswell. In the end human will be my main.

Asura, for one simple reason: The animations. There are other reasons that I like the Asura, but that one is paramount to me

When they introduced them i did not like the way they looked but after the redesign i think they look really beautiful.

Definitely going with Norn... to begin with, anyway.
I've always liked the idea of a sort of barbarian race of humanoids (slightly like the Vrykul in warcraft) plus, their architecture is amazing.
Did I forget to mention the ability to turn into a bear/cat/wolf/raven-thing?

I'll most likely go with Sylvari.
Their backgroundstory seems to be the most interisting to me and I like their artwork the best.
Besides I will play either a Mesmer or a Elementalist, so Norn an Charr are no options for me.
And since I don't want to play an Asura or Human, Sylvari it is.

Is there any www site with race bonuses, stats, skills summary ? I totally don't care about look or lore, just want choose best race for ranger.
