    I think it might be they just haven't yet gotten consistent on their terminology.

    But now that I realize that combo skill and dual skill are referring to the same thing, I now realize I have a lot of synergy towards Unload and Leaping Death Blossom. O_o

    Depending on how often Opportunist procs for me, how often Critical Haste procs for me, and how much initiative I get back from Combined Tactics, they should be rather efficient. I can't help but wonder how much crit I get from Combo Crit Chance.

    Comes down to you wanna push out abit more dmg or have some defense. and you know me i'd go for defense.
    free shadow refuge when about to die is quite nice.
    Also what with the lack of love for shortbow i think im the only thief that has it.

    I'm just not big on bows in general. Dunno why. It's also the Thief's only 2-handed weapon (outside of underwater combat), so perhaps it leaves some confusion as to how it works. Does it's 3-slot still count as a dual-wield skill?

    The wording isn't consistent with the wording we see elsewhere I'd argue it's a trait from a very old build of gw2 where they used something closer to the assassin combo system. Either way the shortbow 3 skill isn't a dual skill and with all the weapon specific traits we've seen I'm not shocked there's traits that work with everything except one weapon

    I love the shortbow, it's amazing. Great for when you want to hit entire groups of people.
    Also, it's way cooler than dual guns thanks to Infiltrator's arrow and Disabling shot. Movement and kiting!

    Might be kinda of a dumb question but does Power also increase dmg of dots or is that only for the base attack dmg. Also what stats do we get from gear is it just the the 4 main stats Power,Precision,Toughness and Vitality.

    from what we know, it increases all damage, yes.
    just as precision for example also increases the crit chance of dots.

    you can have pretty anything on your gear, like increased condition duration, in addition to the main stats.
    i don't know how the usual itemization will look like, though.
