I never "cry" about things until it's actually live in the real game, and you have played with it for some time. I just thought it was a cool spell. I guess that makes it Thief and Elementalist the only professions with a target-area teleport spell then?

Since GW2Tools have been so nice to put together a trait build, let's show our Guardian builds, though it's not 100% done yet, and some traits doesn't have some information.

Here's the link to the trait-tool.

And this is how my trait build ended up.

You have a more diverse build than mine. Interesting that no one seems to really like radiance. I like zeal, but I am really liking valor and honor. Virtues are a mixed bag for me. I might take a few points in it after I play the game a little, but on paper I really don't like them as much as the valor and honor traits.

PM me if you ever want to add me for Hearthstone!

I try to go after that Guardian is a support profession, he helps his allies. Radiance seemed pretty much like single target, that I don't really help my allies around me, that's why i specced like that.

Same for me. I just happen to like being a supportive guy who takes a few hits. Also it never hurts for a support character to have a lot of health/toughness!

I believe Guardian will be a supporting profession no matter how you spec it, it's just a matter of personal opinion in the last run.

Yeah this. I don't think they want to pidgeon hole you in to being a support class. They want you to choose what you want and still be supportive no matter what.

I love playing support classes in addition to dps but then I saw it was a paladin/warrior type class and went "meh, not for me" and moved on but I later found out they can cast magical abilities and have access to some truly amazing defensive abilities and that really appealed to me, so will definitely be rolling a guardian at some point.

    And my regen/support spec

Both specs have traits in the left side frame side

I went with a mostly 1h/Torch build, with some extra bonuses to support healing.

The thing is I want a two-hand melee crit spec with a mace-torch in secondary weapon swap, with slight regen abilities - it still needs the game for testing though, but it seemed like the best option to me =\

Yeah, it's hard to balance my build when I'm so bent on finally having a useful 1her/offhand build in an MMO (finally something not meant for Casting or Healing).

My other build might be: http://www.gw2tools.com/calc/#t-g-kk...Xa.aaa.WeX.aaa

Seems like a nice spec for scorching (=

I made some errors in the other two-hand crit spec some traits was misplaced etc.
    http://gw2.luna-atra.fr/skills_tool/...f06g6k6l6p6u7k
still uncertain if I should pick Hammer or Greatsword... Hammer seems more AoE orientated while Greatsword is more supporting than Hammer...
Huhm... Probably only in-game testing will tell..

I'm digging the Greatsword myself, but, I'll probably end up carrying evvvvvvvvverything on me if I can (the bags in the video seem too tiny just yet).

Haha yeah, and all those items from monsters seem to drop a fairly lot.. That isn't the best combo I'd guess.

Just can't wait to test the guardian =()

You'll have strong, long lasting debuffs that make your enemies weaker and slower. Which also makes you and your allies live longer.

I'll be hopefully playing with someone, and if she goes elementalist this'll be the build i pick.
    http://www.gw2tools.com/calc/#t-g-ka...aa.dWa.Zdb.aaa

Speccing for utility, support, and staying alive, with my damage coming from when my elementalist buddy sets somebody on fire. If i'd get put to half hp, i'd gain 3 buffs and give aoe buffs to my allies. If you leave me alone, i'll stun you while healing and buffing my friend. Then it's time to eat a fireball.

I'm not sure if people fully understand how much damage Guardians can do. Let us use that as an advantage when the game goes live.

I haven't checked all the skills and abilities that the Guardian has, I will explore more of it on release day

But for now I have set to stone that it will be Sword/Shield and Greatsword.

Has anyone come across a Guardian fansite? I found one for necromancers, Necrobator dot com, and I was just wondering if Guardians had one aswell, 'cause that'd be fantastic

The one thing that's really keeping me away from the guardian is the lack of range abilities they have. It's the only profession that seems to be primarily melee.

Think I'm going to go with full zeal and radiance, with the last 10 in honor. Going for a damage build focused around burns and crits. The 25% cooldown reduction on two handed melee attacks seems too good to pass up.
